Easy Pizza Dough Recipe with Greek Yogurt

This easy pizza dough recipe feature a little bit of extra flavor from the Greek Yogurt. Once the dough is ready it can be immediately be baked in the oven on a baking sheet or pizza stone. Looking for pizza in the summer try baking on the grill with a pizza stone as well!

Ingredients
  

  • 2 Cups Bread Flour All-Purpose flour works as well
  • 1 Tbsp Baking Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1 Cup Plain Greek Yogurt

Equipment

  • 1 Mixing Bowl
  • 1 Spoon or Whisk
  • Measuring Cups
  • 1 Rolling Pin (Or a flat wine bottle)
  • 1 Baking Sheet or Pizza Stone
  • 1 Pizza Peel (if using pizza stone)
  • Oven Mitts
  • 1 Pizza Cutter

Method
 

  1. Baking Sheet Method: Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C)

  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
  3. Add the Greek yogurt to the flour mixture and stir with a spoon until it starts to come together.
  4. Use your hands to knead the dough for about 5 minutes, until it forms a smooth ball.
  5. Dust your work surface with flour and roll out the dough to your desired thickness. About ⅛" to ¼" depending on preference.
  6. Baking Sheet Method: Transfer the dough to a greased baking sheet
    Pizza Stone Method: Transfer the dough to a corn meal dusted pizza peel.
  7. Add your favorite pizza toppings, such as tomato sauce, cheese, and vegetables.
  8. Baking Sheet Method: Place pizza in the oven on baking sheet
    Pizza Stone Method: Slide pizza onto corn meal dusted pizza stone from peel
  9. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  10. Slice and serve hot!
