  • 1 Cutting Board
  • 1 Knife
  • 1 Air Frying Rack
  • 1 Cooking Oil Spray

Ingredients
  

  • 1 Lb Ground Chicken
  • 1/2 Cup Red Pepper Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Cauliflower Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Broccoli Finely Chopped
  • 1/2 Cup Bread Crumbs
  • 1/4 Cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 tsp Garlic Powder
  • 1 tsp Onion Powder
  • 1/2 tsp Paprika
  • 1/2 tsp Salt
  • 1/4 tsp Ground Black Pepper
  • 2 Each Eggs Beaten
  • 1/4 Cup All-Purpose Flour
  • Cooking Spray

Instructions
 

  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped red bell pepper, chopped cauliflower, chopped broccoli, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed.
  • Add the beaten eggs to the mixture and mix well to combine.
  • Form the mixture into nugget shapes, about 1 inch in diameter.
  • Place the flour in a shallow dish. Roll each nugget in the flour to coat.
  • Preheat the air fryer to 375°F for 5 minutes.
  • Spray the air fryer basket with cooking oil spray.
  • Place the coated nuggets in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they are not touching each other.
  • Spray the tops of the nuggets with cooking oil spray.
  • Cook the nuggets in the air fryer for 10-12 minutes, flipping them halfway through, or until golden brown and cooked through. (Internal temp of 165°F)
  • Serve the chicken nuggets hot with your favorite dipping sauce.

Notes

This recipe can additionally be prepared in a conventional oven using the below temperatures and time.  Regardless, the internal of the nuggets should always be 165°F.
  • Preheat the Oven to 400°F
  • Adjust baking time to 15-18 minutes
